Courtney Kirby Branding

Project overview

This personal project is in the works for my wife, Courtney Kirby. She's a singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer—currently teaching dance here in Orlando. Naturally, this project is considerably more open-ended than client work.

Keeping things simple

For the time being, Courtney doesn't need anything more advanced than a logo treatment and business card, but this project will continue to evolve.

Keeping things simple

For the time being, Courtney doesn't need anything more advanced than a logo treatment and business card, but this project will continue to evolve.

Logo Treatment

Courtney's logo is composed of custom type and a modern gradient color treatment. The diagonal background is an element that'll be carried forward through additional materials.

Business Card

Most performers' business cards include a headshot—a way for potential connections to perform a quick judgment about whether they're right for a part. Courtney preferred a simpler card—one that identifies her first and foremost as a skilled professional.
